It took place in Lake Gabriel and Galán in Zarza de Granadilla, in the province of Cáceres, the Spanish Cup of sailing 2021 in the form of Formula Windsurf, in which windsurfers from Castilla La Mancha, Valencia, Madrid, Andalusia and Extremaduda competed.

Great work done by the organizing club and also by the extremist federation of Vela to house in the waters of Lake Gabriel and Galán a race as important as a Spanish Cup of the Formula Class Windsurf.

The characteristics of the navigation during the two days of the race were very different. On the first day of the championship, a thermal wind from the north will blow from 12 to 15 knots... on Sunday it dawned with a higher temperature than the previous day and a heat that made it possible to predict that the thermal wind from the north would not appear... delaying the start for one afternoon, in which the wind was again sufficient: 9 to 12 knots.

In the final balance of the competition, and having contested four tests, Roberto Ortiz was the first in three sleeves while Eduardo Navarro was only able to win in the last of the rounds. Thus, Roberto Ortiz received the champion's plate of this Spanish Cup while Navarro rose to the podium as a second classified, but also obtaining a plaque from the Spanish Vela Federation, as the champion of the Spanish Cup of Formula Windsurfing in the master's category (+ 40 years).

In addition, during this Spanish Cup of Formula Windsurf, an Open race was held open to any windsurfing fan with a federal license from any autonomous community and also open to any type of board-to-sail boat.

Among the participants of this Open Class was Martina Espadas. This young windsurfer, resident of the Toledan village of Fuenedo, won three partial victories of the four trials that were disputed. Second, Samuel Guest was classified. Samuel resides in the Toledan town of Montearagon, both being windsurfers of the newly created Water Sports Club.
