The April Fish, a Swan 42 armed by José María Meseguer proclaims to be the winner of the 25th Tenca Vela Diputación de Alicante in ORC 1-2 at the partial addition of 1-2 on this third and last day in the waters of Alicante, a day marked by the little wind and its instability, especially in the first test in which there have been many roles.

The ship of Meseguer, sailing through the CN Portmán, closes its participation in water pliers with 7 points. The silver has been for the Valencian Brujo (RCN Valencia), led by Alberto de Castro who closes his singladura in the Tenca with 13.5 points and a partial triumph in the last test. Bronze is for the Maverta torreviejense (Torrevieja RCN) by adding 17.5 points.

In the ORC 3 fleet El Carmen Elite Sailes de José Coello, under the grympola of RCR Cartagena, has had no rival in Alicante. With six partial wins seal the triumph in this class, but as his shipowner, José Coello, recognizes, "it seems that it has been easy, but once again it has not. The level of the fleet in Alicante has been very good, so it has cost and we have had to work on each test to achieve the final triumph. A great race in Alicante, as in 2019 in which we could enjoy a good organization on land and in water."

With 5.5 points the Synergy 40 of José Coello, El Carmen Elite Sails, is made, in addition to the title in the Tembra, with the precious Trophy V Centenario, being the best ship and crew that achieves the lowest score in the average of all the completed tests.

The second square was awarded by Tanit IV Medilevel (RCR Alicante), by Mª José Vila and led by Nacho Campos with 12 points, while the cartagJanuary Nemox (RCR Cartagena) by José Francisco Romero takes the bronze with 16 points.

In the class ORC 4-5 the title was decided on this third and last delivery. The MKIII (CN Santa Pola) of Rafael Morán is the leader of this last delivery, although if tied to 5.5 points with the Bat Enewtec, by Francisco Miguel Giménez. The partial triumph of the santapolero in yesterday's last test made him start the leader, but it was the bat that took the cat into the water today, thanks to the two partial triumphs that gave it 7.5 points.

Moran is second with 11.5 points, and this has been a consequence of the puncture in the first test of the day, fourth. In the second place, I fixed it with a second place, but it was late. No Te Nom (RCR Alicante) concludes third with 17 points.

In the Promotion class and following its participation in yesterday's day, the podium is closed with the Evamarina 2020 of Joaquín Valero, followed by Pecata, José Carlos Eiroa, and Akra III, Juan Rodríguez.

Adrián Dupuy in memory

The award of trophies started with a brief and simple tribute to a great regatist: Adrián Dupuy, very closely linked and in a special way to the RCR of Alicante, no longer because he is a partner but also because of what much he has contributed to the Club and to the sailing, to his Wizard, to his Soling, to his Snipe. Miguel López, president of the Alicante RCR, did not want to start this act of recognition to the winners unless before he gave this recognition to Adrian and to all those people that the Covid19 has taken, to all those who have suffered this pandemic very directly. López has given a souvenir to Adrián Dupuy Fajardo, father of Adrián and former president of the Alicante RCR.

As for the act itself, he has had the presence of Antonio Peral, deputy mayor of the City of Alicante; José Francisco Mancebo, Executive Director of the Patronato Turismo Costa Blanca; Joaquín Vergara, Comandante Naval de Alicante; José Luis Vázquez, commander of the Subdelegation of Defense; José Eduardo Salinero, Sergeant 1 Civil Guard of the maritime service: Rafel Chirivella, Vice President of the FVCV and Miguel López, President of the RCR Alicante.

2021 / 07 / 10: April Fish and Elite Sails favorite for the victory of the Tembra Vela Diputación de Alicante

The race to the island of Tembra marks a before and a later in the alicantine race... the advantage is extended for the leaders in ORC 1-2 and ORC 3, while the title in ORC 4 will be decided tomorrow and in Promotion maximum equality in its premiere (Photo Pep Portas)

The Tencarca Vela Diputación de Alicante is in line with its final line, with two ships that depend on themselves to achieve the title: Pez de Abril and El Carmen Elite Sails, after today's contest of the coastal race of 30.7 miles to the island of Tencarca and return to the Club, which always marks a before and a later on the Alicantine quote and which as always has a "flywheel" on the island and general of the test.

In ORC 1-2 the April Fish Bat (CN Portmán) has scored in the two steps today, so its distance with its most immediate persecutor, the Maverta torreviejense (RCN Torrevieja), is expanded somewhat more and although it has only a small mattress of 3.5 points depends on itself so that tomorrow, with two tests scheduled, it can be done with the Tcover.

Who has almost secured a podium square is the Valencian Brujo (RCN Valencia), with two third parties in the coastal race achieves a total of 10.5 points and although he has options to change the color of his metal in the absence of that day, he must not lose sight of the Spanaiard (RCR Alicante) that is at 4.5 points.

With two other partial wins today, José Coello's CartagJanuary El Carmen Elite Sails (RCR Cartagena) is closer to the title. Today's results plus those of yesterday, makes Synergy 40 achieve a very important advantage with respect to the second: Tanit IV Medilevel (RCR Alicante) that, while the second square was recorded on the island, on arrival at the Club he signed a third place after obtaining the compensated times

Nemox (RCR Cartagena) has shown a very good level in the alicantine citation. Today it has taken one more step to be the podium, although the passage of the island has concluded fourth and in the "final" second.

In class ORC 4 equality is maximum. After two days and with this somewhat lower coastal race for them, with a total of 27.3 miles, the Santapolero MK II (CN Santa Pola) and the Bat Enewtec (CN La Isleta) will play it tomorrow to see who takes the Tencarra. Both units complete this second Tcover delivery tied to 5.5 points.

No Te Nom (RCR Alicante) no longer has options to climb on the table, its difference with the co-leaders is 6.5 points, very difficult to reach second place, but what you should not do is relax on the last day because the Tantan, also of the club Alicante is just 3 points.

The premiere of the Promotional fleet has been spectacular. With a 27.3-mile coastal race the Evamarina 2020, with two partial wins, has been placed leader with 1.5 points. The provisional silver is for the Pecata and Akra III, both tied to 4 points, so they will play it on the last day.

The third and final day of the 25th Tembra Vela Diputación de Alicante will be held tomorrow Sunday, 11 July, in which the race committee plans to complete two technical tests, to the wind, (Barlovento-Sotavento) with the top of departure planned for 11.30 hours... after the race and from 5 p.m. it is expected to be able to celebrate the delivery of trophies, with various personalities.

April fish, the Swan 42 armed by José María Meseguer and sailing the CN Portman has presented his credentials to be aspiring to the title in the Tenca Trophy Vela Diputación de Alicante in the 1-2 ORC after today closing the first day that has been spectacular, with equality between the fleet and fantastic wind conditions, with winds of 10-15 knots.

Equality has been one of the tonic in this start of the Tembra, proof of this is in the second trial with Pez de Abril and Maverta (RCN Torrevieja) of protagonists, as both and after obtaining the compensated times end tied. In the first test of the day it was the Bat who scored the first partial triumph, you lie that the torreviejense Maverta signed a second.

But there are not two without three and the Witch, which has remained in the top positions in real time, once the compensated times have been obtained has signed two third positions, so it remains 3.5 points of leader and 2.5 of the second.

José Coello's Synergy 40, with El Carmen Elite Sails (RCR Cartagena), has confirmed its good season start in Alicante with two partial wins that have not been easy to achieve. In the second test, with an off-line and again taking the exit have had to cut the rest of the rivals in this class as competitive as the ORC 3. In the first test the carthagenerans have made a good way out, at the bottom of the fleet and very close to the pin.

Tanit IV Medilevel (RCR Alicante), armed by Maria José Vila and led by Nacho Campos, has been the only one able to plant face to the cartagJanuary. With two seconds set after the compensated times and is another of the firm candidates for the title in ORC 3.

Provisional Bronze for another bat, also from RCR Cartagena. The Nemox of José Francisco Romero and with X35 has been able to defend its numbers and the good regularity marked allows it to occupy that third place with two third places achieved in the two tests today.

Equality between those of minor length... the Bat Enewtec (CN La Isleta) of Francisco Miguel Giménez, who with two partial wins is first, followed by MKII (CN Santa Pola) of Rafael Morán, and No Te Nom (RCR Alicante) of Francisco Tornero.

Tomorrow the second day is disputed the Tcovered Trophy Vela Diputación de Alicante with the star test and that gives name to the race, now incorporating the fleet Promotion. At 1130 hours it is expected that they will be able to leave to complete a 30 nautical mile tour for ORC 1-2-3, and that after the departure in the vicinity of the RCRA, they will head for a beacon located in Cabo Huertas, back to the island of Tencarca and arrival at the Club de Regatas. The ORC 4 and Promotion will be something lower, 26 miles, with exit and already direct to the island, with arrival near the Club.
