The Alicantino wins in the CN S'Arenal in an exciting ending to Simon Burner... The historic podium in Mallorca will be complete

Sebastián Ducos was today the winner of the first test of the Vivida Wing Foil Spain Series 2021 that has been held this weekend in waters of the S'Arenal Nautical Club of Mallorca. The race was decided on the last manga of the competition with an exciting duel between the Alicantino and Simon Burner that was solved by a single point. The third place of the podium was for the local José Miguel Llorá. The next circuit test will be on September 4 and 5 in Denia with the collaboration of the Kitesurf Denia Club.

All the objectives that were set at the premiere of the race have been met. The organization of Vivida WFSS has created this event to promote the Wingfire in Spain with an exclusive circuit as only race tests of this specialty are held. The whole focus is on providing the regatists with the best conditions to develop their nautical discipline and to try to ensure that out of the water there is also a good environment for them as well as their families and companions.

And all this has been achieved thanks to the support offered by the CN S'Arenal which is one of the clubs in Spain where the most emphasis is on supporting nautical sport from the base to the elite. And the perfect example was today's day when the wind was non-existent on the coast and the club put the logistics to work to get the Bay of Palma to the fleet where they found a south wind of about 15 knots that offered perfect conditions for the practice of this specialty.

The premiere of the Vivida Wing Foil Spain Series was as planned... everything came to perfection... the Nüutic of S'Arenal was the perfect stage to receive the first test of a circuit that comes to respond to the demand of the regatists of Wing Foil who ask for an exclusive competition for them in the race mode.

Ducos, a regular topten at the Cutty Sark FKSS, was the best after winning three of the five sleeves with fantastic wind conditions of between 15 and 20 knots from the usual 'embat' of the Bay of Palma. Alicantino is one of the best regatists in Spain of Formula Kite and its versatility has led to it being a very solvent competitor in the specialty of Wing Foil. Today it was the strongest in the water and it was always among the first three in each of the five sleeves. In second position is another well known of the Formula Kite Spain Series that last year finished third on the podium of the general circuit: Simon Burner. Simon won two sleeves, but he was more irregular than his partner and friend in the others. The fifth manga of the day was decided between these two regatists in the last stretch, which lasts no more than half a minute, when Ducos was able to unwind the regatist based in Catalonia almost on the same finish line.

2021 / 07 / 09: The Nautic s'Arenal marks the beginning of the first Wing Foil circuit

The Vivida Wing Foil Spain Series will have 20 regatists on the beach of Es Caló in San Antoni on 10 and 11 July

The Vivida Wing Foil Spain Series is released tomorrow, with tests on Saturday and Sunday, in the waters of the Club Nàutic de s'Arenal; in Mallorca.

This is the first test of this mode, which in 2021 take their own name with a four-stop circuit. This is a new bet of the Náutic Club de s'Arenal and the organization of the circuit, the same one that organizes the Cutty Sark FKSS, to bring the public closer to this new modality by encouraging their learning, competition and the Wing Foil community in Spain.

The first Wing Foil circuit in Spain is born with the guarantee of success by having the same organizational team of the Kite Spain Series, the winner of the best tourism and sport event of 2021 in Emprén Sport and has already become an international reference event.
