It ended in the waters of La Coruña Bay, the twenty-first edition of the Nautical Week, with over a hundred regatists competing in classes 420, Finn, Optimist, as well as ILCA 4, 6 and 7. The medallion summarized the domain of the organizing club, along with the Vigués Club Marítimo de Canido... while the Herculinos reigned in 420 and Optimist... the Vigueses did so in ILCA 4 and 6.

2021 / 07 / 10: The Nautical Week of La Coruña began... Canido dominates ILCA4 and La Coruña in Optimist

It started the twenty-first Nautical Week of La Coruña, by the hand of the Royal Nautico Club... with more than a hundred athletes of the Finn classes, 420, ILCA (4-6-7) and Optimist... and a sufficient wind of 7 to 10 knots, allowing all classes to complete three sleeves, except for the finnists who even managed to finish four.

In the Finn class the world cruise champion Jesus Pintos, won in the four races held and the second square is for the moment for Juan Manuel Filgueira (Maritime Network) who was second in all sleeves. Ricardo Pereira, from the Nautico de Camariñas, repeated the third place in the sleeves, while Ignacio Klett (La Penela) made four rooms. Finally the fifth provisional position is Diego Carral, from the same club

Pablo Mijares, from the Nautico de La Coruña, made full of victories in the four sleeves held, in class 420. The second position was for Jaime Herrero (2-2-2-2) and Soledad Mallo is third (3-3-3-3)

ILCA4 classification in which the mastery of the young lasers of the Maritime of Canido can be observed

The Canido Maritime Club, with one of the best quarries in the ILCA class of all Galicia, began strong in this class (ancient Laser 4.7) with Andrés Barreiro in first position after achieving on this first day of Nautical Week, two first and one second. Marta Torres, of the Bazán Group of Ferrol, is second (6-3-1). Third is Pablo Osuna, also from the Maritime of Canido (2-5-8). The Coruñés Mauro González Regueral is fourth (8-6-3) and the fifth provisional square is for Fernando Campos, from the Maritime of Canido (3-3-12).

In this class there was more dispute at sea and for the moment Rubén Cabral (Marítimo de Canido) is positioned first (1-2-3). Jaime Abella (Nautico Coruña) is second with 4-1-2. From the same club is Carlos González Regueral (3-4-1); fourth Nicolás González (2-3-4); fifth, Claudio Bussi (Oza-Puntal), with the partials of 5-5-5; while Nicolás Freire, of Alamar Sada, is sixth (6-6-6).

The veteran Portuguese laserist Serafin Gonçales, of the Nautico Povoense, is leader with a first and two seconds. Breogán Casas del Grupo Bazán, occupies the second position (3-2-1) and Jaime Acebal, from Oza-Puntal is third (1-2-2). In this class it will also be disputed on the last day to eluciate the champion.

In optimist it is the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña that dominates holsely

In the Optimist class, which is organized in groups A, B and C, the Coruñesa Pepa Bermudez de Castro is the first in the general. He is closely followed by Jaime Díaz, also from the organizing club. Javier García is third; Martín Mijares, fourth and fifth Otto García, all of them from the Nautico Coruñés.

In this 21st Nautical Week organized by the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña... Aspronaga collaborates with volunteers that will be repeated in other races organized by the Nautico Coruñés... these are boys and girls from Aspronaga who already participate in the sailing initiation courses, within the program of the School for Social Inclusion and will be developed throughout the year.

2021 / 07 / 09: Nautical Week of La Coruña, with partition of the optimal classes, ILCA, 420 and Finn

The optimal class will be the largest in the Coruñesa Bay

For this weekend, twenty-first edition of the already traditional Nautical Week by the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña, with the presence of the Optimist classes, 420, Laser and Finn... and range of qualifying races at the level of the Royal Galician Sailing Federation.

The largest class will be that of Optimist where there will be 60 regatists that will be divided into three groups... in the antigüa laser, now ILCA, will compete athletes in the three modalitywill be all three modalities (4, 6 and 7); the planning with the crews in 420 and the finists.

In principle two race fields are established, one of them near the coast of Mera and destined for Optimist, Laser and 420. The second between Bastiagueiro beach and the buoy of the Guisanda. Boya, by the way, located at the entrance of the Coruñesa Bay, in the form of a castle, and with its red light has a night range of about 5 miles.

On Saturday the tests will begin at 1.55 p.m. and on Sunday, at 11 a.m.... the closure in the sports building of the Nautico, at the edge of 5 p.m.
