The event has had the presence of Juan Villar-Mir, President of the board of directors of Puerto Sotogrande and Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, Mayor of San Roque and has served to present publicly the new corporate image where he is committed to a new disruptive and distinctive concept using the acronyms PST as an indicator of unique nautical territorial location in the world

The new image of Puerto Sotogrande has been presented to half a hundred personalities from the Costa del Sol and the Andalusian nautical sector... it also elevates to the rank of official maritime flag, the adaptation of the previous logo maintaining the presence of the history and family tradition of Puerto Sotogrande.

In this way, PST becomes in 2021 the abbreviation and international coding of territorial identification of Puerto Sotogrande, following criteria of the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 code published by the International Organization for Standardization which provides three-letter codes for the unique names of countries and other administrative units. Thus, Puerto Sotogrande for its appeal and global reference, bet on the territorial concept of PST location as it is not used geographically by any country or territory of the world.

Juan Villar-Mir, for his part, has shown that PST Puerto Sotogrande wants to continue to be a unique destination in the world, the port where you always arrive and feel at home with yours and freely enjoy the passion for the sea, for the nautical of recreation and sports. That is why we also want to link this new brand and conceptual logo to the language of the sails of the ships as well mark the World Sailing Sailing National Letters that are in turn so characteristic of the marinas.

In the same event it has also been announced that in 2024 will be celebrated the 35 anniversary of Puerto Sotogrande, a unique marina because of its strategic geographical enclave that gives it an exceptional attraction to navigate between two seas and two continents just at the gates of the Strait of Gibraltar.
