The Spanish team has been classified to play the final of the Optimist World Championship in Team Racing. After the first five classing sleeves, the Team Racing mode in the waters of Lake di Garda has entered the game, where the three classification days that ended on Sunday in the individual World Championship gave way to the first of two exciting Team Race days.

For many teams, this represents the first experience in the innovative discipline of Team Race, very attractive to regatists and spectators, but above all it improves the technical and tactical skills of the young regatists, who must get out of the mentality of individual regats and primacy of the team.

Seventy-five tests completed today, which have progressively drawn the list of participants from forty-eight teams to sixteen finalists.

The teams that will participate in the final are: Italy, Ukraine, Hungary, Turkey, Spain, United States, Singapore and Finland, classified in group A. In group B they entered: Thailand, Belgium, Croatia, Brazil, France, Portugal, Argentina and Lithuania.

The World Optimist Championship 2021 is organized by Fraglia Vela Riva in collaboration with FIV, Ioda, AICO, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, North Lake Garda and Trentino.
