Martín Bermudez of the Real Club Náutico de Madrid and Angela Pumariega of the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, winners of the twenty-second Trophy established in memory of this legendary snipista: Carlos del Castillo de Snipe.

The second square was for Alberto Prado and Pablo Carrasco of the Nautico de Madrid, closing the podium posts, the Madrid Alfonso Oña and the Andalusian Teresa Bejar.

The four scheduled sleeves were held, two per day. On Saturday the wind blew loose from the Northeast, with an intensity of between 6 and 8 knots, the sea as a dish on a grey day. On Sunday the wind blew from the North component with a little more intensity, reaching 10 knots in the last stretch of the second manga, and with clouds and light in the field of regatas, located in front of the beach of San Lorenzo.

On Saturday, the veteran gijonés of the host club, José Palacio, with a very large palmarés in the Snipe class, with Alberto Suárez de proel, began winning the first manga of the Memorial, followed by another couple from the Astur de Regatas, that formed by Francisco Silvela and Roberto Liaño. The third place was for one of the couples a priori favorites to the title, that formed by, Martín Bermudez and Angela Pumariega, third in the last edition. Bermudez and Pumariega won the second manga and placed leaders in the provisional general, followed by Alberto Prado and Pablo Carrasco, with a quarter and a second in their locker. The third position in the day would be for, Francisco Silvela and Roberto Liaño sextos in the second manga.

The second day of the Carlos del Castillo began with several couples well placed on the table to win the title. Martin and Angela were the fastest in the third manga, keeping at the head of the classification, followed very closely by the Madrileños Alberto Prado and Pablo Carrasco, who repeated the second square achieved in the second manga in the previous day. Jaime Alvarez-Hevia and Ignacio Braña ended up in the third position.

In the last manga the victory was for Alberto Prado and Pablo Carrasco who thus obtained the subchampionship, just one point from Martín Bermudez and Angela Pumayega who ended up in second position and were the just winners of the Trophy, with two first and one second in their locker. For his part Alfonso Oña and Teresa Bejar with a fifth, a fourth and a third were made with bronze. The fourth and only one point away were Silvela and Liaño.
