Spain achieves three medals at the Kayak de Mar World Cup in Lanzarote waters

The competition, with exit on the beach of La Garita (Arrieta) and arrival on the beach of the Reducto (Arrecife), after walking the distance of 27 km along the lanzaroteña coast, brought together 240 palists from 22 countries
The Spanish selection of pyragüismo has today achieved three medals in the 2005 Kayak World Championship of Mar 2021, disputed in Lanzarote, where Judith Vergés has obtained bronze in the senior category while in júnior Jorge Enriquez was second and Irene Gana, third.
In women, with the triumph of the South African Michelle Burn (1h.42m.25s.), the most outstanding performance of the Spanish women was the Catalan one based in Canarias Judith Vergés, winner of the bronze medal, with a time of 1 hour, 45 minutes and 43 seconds.
Very close to the podium was the international medalist Navarra Amaia Osaba, who finished fifth, with a chrono of 1 hour, 52 minutes and 1 second, followed by the Spanish nationalized French Chloe Bunnett, sixth (1h.52m.36s.)
Among the Spanish participants was also the international balear of the speciality of esprint Alicia Heredia, which ended at the 10th (2h.00m.26s.).
