The IEO publishes the Atlas of the Spanish seaports.

The Atlas de pastas marinas de España is already available on the IEO website, which will be the reference site for quoting the publication.

The Atlas of the seaports of Spain, the first national work published on the distribution and ecological status of the submerged forests of our coasts, can now be downloaded in full and free of charge on the website of the IEO. This is a collective work in which 84 experts from all the coastal Autonomous Communities, members of scientific institutions and administrations have been involved in the study, management and protection of these valuable marine habitats over the last 40 years. The Atlas has been promoted and coordinated by the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Institute of Litoral Ecology (IEL), contributing to its funding the Biodiversity Foundation.
