From July 31 to August 11 an exciting Xacobea Maritime Route

Nautica Digital Europe Highlights Routes Tourism

For the eleventh consecutive year we organized the Route Marítima O Cabaleiro das Cunchas, a Jacobea maritime journey that commemorates the last part of the translation of the remains of the Apostle Santiago by sea (Traslatio) according to popular tradition.

It will be held between July 31 and August 8, 2021, through the practice of the canned, non-competitive navigation, with the objective of a navigation in several stages, emphasizing in several ports of the Portuguese coast, the Rias of Vigo and Arousa passing through the Cathedral of Santiago, where the mass of the pilgrim in honor of the Route will be held, and ending in Bouzas.

We intend that the sailors enjoy a few days of navigation and actvities in each port we visit, where the organization is in charge of managing the raids. A varied programme is being developed in which the cultural, gastronomic and leisure aspects will have a unique relevance.

The canned navigation has the charm and uniqueness that the expedition takes place with ships in sight and in permanent contact with the elements of safety and accompaniment.
