Under own projects such as' The Sea of Dones' or support for others such as the Dorsia Coviran SomVela Team, the FVCV highlights one of its main objectives: to promote women's sports practice

One of the primary purposes of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana is to work to create and develop projects that promote the integration of women in the sport of the candle, as well as to support those initiatives that have the same objective.

In this line, the Federació developed and promoted the La Mar de Dones Dissemination Program that was launched last May and will be in force throughout 2021 at different points of our Community.

After its success in 2019 and 2020, this year, FVCV did not hesitate to encourage it and bring it closer to the Vela de la CV schools so that it could make available to the Valencian women different boats and that they would start in the sailing world.

But in addition to encouraging the base candle, the FVCV has also wanted to promote the competition candle That is why he has decided to support the women's team that make up the girls of the Dorsia Coviran SomVela Team and that on board a J80 they will increase female representation in key events in the Spanish sports world.

A leading women's team that also has three Olympic women aboard and that have been the female revolution in the most important tests on the calendar of recent years.
