Today the Spanish team has closed its participation in the European Championship of Esprint Júnior and Sub- 23 achieving 10 medals, adding 8 in the closing day to the 2 achieved yesterday Saturday in the competition held in the Polish city of Poznan.
Spain hung yesterday 2 juniors obtained over 1,000 meters by Álex Graneri in K1 and in K2 with Ernesto Goribar and Marcos Caballero.
The gold medals came from the hand of the shooting Joan Toni Moreno in C1 200 Sub- 23, showing that he is one of the great bulwarks of the Spanish pyragüism of the present and the future, for he knows what it is to be the champion of Europe also in absolute category.
The other gold was obtained by the Galician Antía Otero in C1 200, who signed a race in which he was untreatable.
In addition, Álex Graneri repeated his Saturday silver, this time in the K1 500, and shortly after Claudia Couto was the one who got his presea in the C1 500 in the junior category.
The Catalan Laia Pelachs joined the party with a bronze in K1 500 Sub- 23, while Antía Otero, the protagonist of the day, together with Valeria Oliveira, got two teams. The first in the C2 500 meters and the second in the C2 200.
The quartet formed by Ivan Fernández, Xoel García, Lázaro López and Blai Muñoz did not fail in the K4 500 Sub-23 and achieved bronze medal.
