The first twenty-first edition of the Star of Levante Trophy, a valid regatta for the autonomous Orc Cruise Cup of the FVCV already has new owner. The Maverta, a Rodman 42 by Pedro Gil, has made the triumph in the absolute general and also in its category ORC 2, on a second spectacular day.
After obtaining the compensated times, together with the test disputed yesterday, the final podium in ORC 2 has been closed with Maverta, Slick, from Nerea Goikoetxea, and Sopu Two, from Jorma Nuutinen. As for the ORC 3, with a very disputed race, the final podium has had bating color, with Ohana of Diego José López (CN Villa de San Pedro) and Nemox of José Francisco Romero (RCR Cartagena) have been with the first and second square, respectively, while the bronze has been for the Mevilla-Jumbruck (RCN Torrevieja).
No less disputed have been the class ORC 4, which has had bats on the final podium. No te nom (RCR Alicante), Brito (CN Villa de San Pedro) and Join Join (Pto. Dptvo. Juan Montiel).
There has also been a lot of equality between the ORC 5, although in the end and after the sum of the two tests, Tucana I of Patricio Valverde has added his second partial win, so he has won that first place. He was followed by Bernique, by Fernando Peña, and Mandanga, by Gabriel Hostalet.
As for the ORC 5Tucana 1 I have made the partial triumph, after adding two first positions. From behind, and after the compensated times, silver for Bernique, and bronze for Mandanga.
With regard to the category Division 2, the final triumph has been for Marchalado II of José Luis López, followed by Atolón 3 of José Antonio Cañones and Rosa Serendipia of Alejo Armelini.
In the joint general, from the class ORC 2 to the class ORC 5, as regards the ORC, the podium has been closed with the Maverta, followed by Ohana and Tucana I.

The XXI Star of Levante Trophy, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, regates punctuable for the Autonomical Cup of Cruises of the Valencia Community closes its first day, of the two planned, completing a coastal tour of 14 miles for the ORC and 10 miles for the fleet Division 2 under good wind conditions.
Maverta, a Rodman 42 armed by Pedro Gil, located in ORC 2, has been the fastest ship in the fleet, so after obtaining the compensated times he has placed himself a leader in his category... he has been followed by Slick, from Nerea Goikoetxea, and the Sopu Two, led by Dorma Nuutien, sailing all of them under the grompola of the Torrevieja RCN.
As for the ORC 3, the Bat fleet is clear. Once the times have been established, two are the ships of the Region that occupy the first and second places respectively. Ohana based in San Pedro, by Diego José López and Nemox de Cartagena, with José Francisco Romero in a row. The third square is for the local Mevilla- JumBruck, from Olaf Kunigk.
As regards ORC 4, the region's fleet has also shown its potential. Brito (CN Villa de San Pedro), by José Luis Miralles, is a leader. The second square is for the Alicantino No te nom (RCR Alicante) of Francisco Tornero, while the provisional bronze is for another representative of San Pedro: Tamoa, a Dufour 34 of Antonio Pardo.
Tucana I (CN Campoamor), by Patricio Valverde, Mandanga (RCN Torrevieja), by Gabriel Hostalet and Bernique (CNM International) complete the provisional podium in ORC 5, while in Division 2, the three podium squares are for Marchalado, by José Luis López, followed by Atolón 3, armed by Antonio J. Cañones, and Steda, by Manuel Valera.
