The Barcelona Ilca Master Championship was held on the Barcelona coast. About 100 regatists have gathered at the Barcelona International Sailing Center to celebrate the 2021 edition, after the 2020 edition will be cancelled due to restrictions on the occasion of the pandemic.

On Sunday, on the last day, the day dawned grey without wind and with a threat of rain, the regatists waited until after noon, when suddenly there came in a bunch of wind of earth that had all the candles flamed with force, and went out to compete. The sky opened and brought a Garby that grew in the afternoon with a force of 9 to 14 knots and allowed the participants to complete two races.

On Sunday afternoon, the award ceremony began with a minute of silence because of the sad death of a partner, the Andorran regatist Arnau Frigigls, who lost his life in a tragic car accident the day before, dismayed everyone, regatists and organization.
