The Royal Nautical Club Gran Canaria hosted this presentation... both events will be held in Canary waters from June 23 to 27
From 23 to 27 June, the bay of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will have to sail in its waters, the most relevant national fleets that will compete for the podiums of the Spanish Championship of the 29th class (23 to 27 June 2020), the Spanish Cup of ILCA 4 (24 to 27 June)..
The logistics of each of the territorial federations are already in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. We are talking about the management of 129 ships in the Spanish Cup ILCA 4 and the 22 ships that will participate in the 29er Championship.
Today, the list of entries of the 29er double class has 10 registered from the Canary Federation, 4 from the Balear Federation and 8 from the Valencian Federation.
With regard to the individual class ILCA4, 23 ships correspond to the Canary Federation, 17 to the Galician Federation, 3 to the Basque Federation, 21 to the Andalusian Federation, 21 to the Balear Federation, 18 to the Catalan Federation, 13 to the Bat Federation and 13 also to the Valencian Federation.
These important national citations have been preceded by the ILCA 4 Canarian Championship (held last weekend and with the participation of 47 canarian vessels) and the 29er Canarian Cup that will take place next weekend (19 and 20 June) delegated by the Canary Federation of Sailing to the nautical grancanary and that will serve many local and national regatists that are planning to participate, as set up before facing these national citations.
For the organization of this great sport bet, there has been the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through the Island Institute of Sports, the City Hall represented in the Municipal Institute of Sports, as well as the collaboration of the Maritime Captains, the Armaso-TransMediterranean, the Canary and Island Sailing Federations, Vela Latina, Puerto de las Palmas and the Superior Council of Sports.
