The main races of the summer period of Euskadi and Galicia, will be connected again with a great race this year... as they were in the 90's of the hands of the Bilbao-Baiona Regata: the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club and the Real Nautical Club of La Coruña have confirmed that on July 21 the Sea Regata of Maeloc Xacobeo 21-22 will begin in the Abra vizcadno with a fleet that can reach the Veintena of cruises, to reach La Coruña or two days later.
After which it will be, with its 240 miles of tour, the longest in Spain this season... will be held in the ports of La Coruña, Laxe, Muxia and Malpica the Regata Mar de Maeloc Rías Altas in the late days of July.
At its end it is the turn of the Finisterre to the Ria de Vigo... where from the hand of the Real Club Nautico olivico will take place a new edition of the Regata Mar de Maeloc Rías Baixas, with scales in A Pobra do Caramiñal and Commud and two tests between beacons: one in the Ria de Arousa and the other in the Ria de Vigo.
There was a certain fear of how the fleet of cruises from all over Spain would respond, for even when the journey between Getxo and La Coruña is very beautiful, that it is 240 miles... it is not something within everyone's reach.
But the answer is being impressive: in the first three days of the opening of inscriptions, the Antilope of the Club Bahia de Gijón, by the Cantabrian fleet the Aizén of Gustavo Arce of the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, by the Galician the Gomez Mostly, the beautiful Sigma 38 of the Nautico of La Coruña, by the Basque "Alpega" of Alfonso Churruca and the Rat Pack of Javier-varri of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra.
Complete this promising list which is the largest ship in the fleet at the moment: the imposing Baltic 56 Bionic of the onubense José Angel Quintero.
