Didac Costa plans to compete in its third round of the world alone sailing

Didac Costa already prepares its third round of the world alone sailing with the support of Guasch Brothers
The ocean navigator Didac Costa will return to the sea in the next edition of the transoceanic regatta Vendée Globe, if he gets the necessary support to his typical adventure... for this, Costa is already moving threads to finance and carry out what would be his third turn to the world alone, without scales and without assistance.
In this sense, and through the project Sailing with cause presented at the facilities of his sponsor Hermanos Guasch, Costa aims to raise awareness about the preservation of the oceans, through navigation and education, while at the same time getting means to embark on the next Vendée Globe 2024, one of the most followed nautical sports events on the planet.
The project of the Barcelona navigator, the only Spanish who has completed the Vendée Globe ocean race on two occasions, and the only representative of the country in the recent edition 2020-2021, aims to take advantage of the values of sport, adventure, and the natural appeal of the oceans to advance in terms of sustainability and scientific research.
At the meeting, held in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Costa has also explained the experiences and anecdotes of its last participation in the transoceanic race 2020-2021, and it has completed with the ship Imoca 60 OnePlanet OneOcean in 97 days, 6 hours, 27 minutes and 3 seconds, reducing your previous mark in 11 days.
