Many of the cultural, political and sports personalities, as well as a wide representation of the directors and members of the board of directors of the RCN Valencia and Es Nàutic, were invited to accompany the main actors of this brilliant setting, directed by the sports journalist Jesús Álvarez, as were Vicente Genovés, president of the College of the Art of the Silk; José Mª Chiquillo, international president Silk Point Unesco; Salvador Losa, Conseller D'Hisenda, Gestió Economica, Esports I Joventa d'Eivissa; Joan Carles, director of the General of the Valencia and the Director of the Cultural Tourism Unit of the Valencia, was accompanied by the Director of the Director of the General of the Department of the Valencia.

In the various parliaments, emphasis was placed on the work carried out by the two clubs, mainly to launch events that go beyond the sports field and which have the main objective of being able to combine in an efficient and organized way the sports and social part, in order to bring the sailing and fishing closer to all.

The Silk Route will take place from 9 to 12 October, whose departure will be from the vicinity of the RCN Valencia and ending the marina Es Náutic, in Sant Antoni de Portmany, city that will offer a social program and guided tours to all participants (Pep Portas photos)

It was also pointed out that the Silk Road is one of those social projects that now, more than ever, is needed given the situation experienced by the pandemic and that it has suffered tourism and hospitality in general, being the best window and a great opportunity to offer new alternatives to tourism.

Vicente Genovés, for his part, dedicated part of his intervention to the history and meaning of the College of the Greater Art of Silk, emphasized that it is an institution that was constituted as Gremi de Velluters (velvet weavers), whose first ordinances were approved by King Fernando El Catholic in 1479, concluding in its importance within the most recent history of the city of Valencia.

From the RCN Valencia, Alejandro Fliquete, wanted to highlight that After the return to normal, we understood from the Board of Directors that it was extremely important to encourage and motivate partners with such events, to combine very well that competitive part with the social part, so I would like to express my appreciation to Conrado for its involvement and work., concluding that from the Club we are very grateful to all the public institutions, who have not hesitated a second to give us their support to carry out this ambitious project, which would not have been possible without the collaboration of the Club Es Nàutic, which began to work with us from the very first moment to make the Silk Route a reality.
