Marine of the Mediterranean celebrates the Marina Day in its three marinas

The Mediterranean Marine Group, an entity that manages the concessions of the seaports of Estepona, La Duquesa (Manilva) and Marina del Este (Almuñecar), celebrates on Saturday 12 June the international Marina Day initiative, on the day of the Sports Ports, with various activities in its three nautical facilities.

The objective of the Marina Day is to open the ports and all its facilities to the public. To make the population aware of the variety of leisure and entertainment alternatives offered by the sports ports, and to be aware that these facilities are open spaces for the enjoyment of the whole family and that there is no need for a boat to be able to take advantage of all the activities and infrastructure available to the ports.

For its part, Daniel Martín, CEO of the Mediterranean Marine Group, has commented that one of the objectives marked by the strategic plan of the company is to bring closer the sports ports that manage to the cities in which they are located and that are considered by the neighbors as a space for their leisure and enjoyment, so the celebration of the Marina Day is a great opportunity to make known the offer that each port has.

During the day of Saturday 12 June, the sports ports of Estepona, La Duquesa and Marina del Este have organized some environmental activities to combine them with nautical activities and the wide gastronomic offer of the ports. All this in the open air, without agglomerations and with maximum safety guarantees.

The Estepona Sports Port begins the celebration of the Marina Day on Friday June 11 with the cleaning of the funds of the 3 and 4 of the port by the divers of Marbella Shipyard.

By Saturday, June 12, the marina has scheduled a garbage collection activity on the Playa del Cristo and the surrounding area within the annual mobilization against the "Basuriale," of the Project Libera 1m2 for Las Beayas and Los Mares. The meeting point will be at the Control Tower at 10.30 a.m., where all necessary material will be distributed to carry out the collection of the waste.

And to enjoy the sea, the marina-based schools and charter companies will offer the following discounts: Moby Dick Catamaran, Sailor Toro and Estepona Nautical Club Sailing School offer 50% discounts on their rates.

Charter Estepona, for its part, will have a 20% discount for the reservations made at the Marina Day and the companies Sotoboats Charter, South Olé Sails, El Intrepid Tourist Sailing, Aquatic Adventures La Noria I or Marbella Jet Ski, of water bikes, will offer a 10% discount. Catamaranes Estepona has a price of 8 euros for one hour and 50% for the rest of the rates.

The Puerto Deportivo de La Duquesa also begins the celebration of the Marina Day on Saturday 12 June with the activity of collecting garbage. An initiative that will start at 10 a.m. with the delivery of the gloves, bags and necessary material in the Port Control Tower. The collection of waste will take place on the beach of the Gaviotas.

And the day continues with interesting promotions, such as the 50% discount offered by the company Norton Charters SC for the 1 hour trips during the weekend or Entolsur Initiatives SL, with a 20% discount for routes with Kayak on the Guadiaro River.

For its part, Jimmy's Kitchen restaurant, in the front line of the port, celebrates this day with several promotions: 8 vegan or non-vegan tapas and a pitcher of bleeding for 25 euros; special offer of 2 × 1 in cocktails between 2: 00 and 8: 00 during the weekend; and for each breakfast of the menu, a free tea or coffee.

The Puerto Deportivo Marina del Este, in Almuñecar, will also have various options to spend a good day in its facilities. Departures by boat or boat rental with special discounts (15% discount on rent and 20 euros discount for 3-hour walks); diving schools offer a 25% discount on dives and 2 × 1 on baptisms and some restaurants have special menus from 15 euros. The collaborating companies are Moto- Nautica Elite, Alborán Adventure & Charter, Nautica MH Embarcations Rental, Nautica del Este, Diving La Herradura and Restaurant El Barco.

In Marina del Este it is also planned to collect the "Basuriale" in the area of the Playa de Los Berengueles and the hatch of the port. The appointment is Saturday 12 June at 10.30 a.m. in the Tower of Control of the marina.
