The Real Club Náutico de Valencia has again shone as a club based in a high-level fishing contest, as has been the Provincial Championship of Corcheo-Mar Captura y Pesca, organized together with the Federation of Fisheries of the Valencia Community. A meeting that took place this last Sunday to a single manga, with a high participation that reached the 67 fishermen, highlighting among all of them Paula Roda (CP Puçol), the only female in the contest and that, in addition, it was able to conclude in a magnificent 11th place of the absolute general with 1,820 points and piece greater than 800 g.
The provincial title was for the Valencian Víctor Fernández (CP La Senyera), it is its fourth consecutive scepter that it achieves, by obtaining a total of 8,560 points and a piece greater than 2,320 g. The podium was completed by Alvaro Montesino, with 4,840 points and piece of 1,400 g. and José Salas, with 3,170 points and piece of 990 g., both of the CPD Valencia. These three fishermen, together with José A. Murcia (CPD Valencia), have been classified directly for the Spanish championship.
In local key stands Ángel Balsalobre (RCN Valencia) when he finished in the 12th square, the same place with which he ended in his sector. Balsalobre got 1,490 points and a piece greater than 1,480 g. José Añón and Manuel Blat, both of the RCN Valencia, signed the 19 and 20 posts, respectively, in the absolute general. The first with 1,460 points and 800 g piece and the second with 980 points and 780 g piece. All three enter the group of fishermen who will look in the Autonomical for the national ticket.
