It was held in the waters of Baiona, the Galician Championship of A2 Trophy MRW, which reminded President Rafael Olmedo of the dispute of his trophy, which organized the Monte Real Club de Yates.

The tandem made up of the Lusian Rui Ramada and Pedro Serodio with the Swan 45 Yess Racing won the ORC class, in which they competed 19 ships, taking the title of the Galician Champion of that category.

In the class J80 was imposed the crew of the Cansino, formed on this occasion by Fernando Yáñez and Ignacio Sánchez Otaegui... category in which they regated 18 J80 monotypes.

In the female section of J80, the best crew was that formed by Marta Ramada and Dunia Reino on board the Miudo; and among the mixed sailboats, manned by a couple of men-women, in the framework of the ORC class, was imposed the team of Victor Carrión and Ana Sardiña of Bon III.

The tour of the A Two Galician Championship of this 2021 was a route from Baiona to the vicinity of the island of Ons, where the sailboats had to turn the Camouco Faro before they began to return to Baiona. In view of the possibility of the wind intensity falling, the regatta committee decided to shorten the initial route and to place the line of arrival to the south of the archipelago of Cis, on the island of Viños... in total 27 miles.

The award of the VII Memorial Rafael Olmedo, delivered by Mauro Olmedo, was shared by the Yess Racing (Rui Ramada and Pedro Serodio), winners of the general in ORC; and Fernando Yáñez and Ignacio Sánchez Otaegui (Cansino), winners of the general in J80. As for the MRW Trophy, the winners of the different classes were the couples formed by Rui Ramada and Pedro Serodio (ORC), Javier Rey and Jorge Justo (ORC OPEN), Alejandro Retolaza and Roy Alonso (FIGARO); and Fernando Yáñez and Ignacio Sánchez Otaegui (J80). Once the race was over, the gardens of the Monte Real Club de Yates hosted the award of the winners, in which the president of the Baionese club, José Luis Alvarez, and Santos Almeida participated on behalf of MRW, a sponsor of the competition.
