The Eskarra Trophy is one of the most loved championships in the Cantábrico since the first edition of this historic trial took place in 1964, an appointment with a lot of solo in the Basque candle that was born with a beautiful initiative of which he was president of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, Don Ramón Zubiria, as a tribute to José Luis Azqueta and his sailboat 'Eskarra'. The test was organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra Real Sporting Club by delegation of the Basque Vela Federation, with the sponsorship of Surne and the collaboration of the City Council of Getxo, the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, the Basque and Vizcaine de Vela Federations and the Association of Owners of J80 of Spain. This Sunday, the J80 will complete a very special weekend that is initialled with the Euskadi Championship.
