With its presence in the PIBS 2021, AENIB reaffirms its commitment to participate in all those events that serve to promote nautical activity in the Balearic Islands and to give visibility to its partners and the sector as a whole. AENIB thus strengthens its support for Palma International Boat Show, with which it shares the common objective of serving as a meeting point for the different actors in the sector and enhancing the Balearic Islands as a reference nautical destination throughout the world

The Association of Balearic Nautical Enterprises (AENIB) celebrates this year the thirty-fifth anniversary of its foundation. Since the health situation does not allow great celebrations, the balear nautical patron has commemorated this effemeric with an institutional event at the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS 2021), which is held this weekend at the Moll Vell de Palma.

This is a very appropriate framework for taking stock of the trajectory of the nautical ballast, as the entity has been one of the great drivers of this fair since its inception. AENIB held the above-mentioned symbolic celebration this Friday morning at its stand in the nautical hall. It has been attended by different personalities, including the support of the vice president of the Balear Govern, Juan Pedro Yllanes.

In addition, and within the framework of the fair, AENIB works with the Balearic Islands Occupation Service (SOIB) in several initiatives to connect future workers with the companies in the sector. The PIBS thus hosts a Job Day and visits of young people to nautical facilities in order to promote the recruitment by companies in the sector of the professional profiles they need.

Coinciding with the anniversary, the nautical balear has released its new website, with a renewed image and new content. The web, like its social media profiles, is very visual and modern, and will incorporate a dynamic news section, a directory to give visibility to the nautical companies associated with AENIB and a section with the exclusive advantages offered to the partners by various entities and partner companies.

The Association of Balearic Nautical Enterprises (AENIB) is composed of more than a hundred companies in the Islands sector that bring together a wide range of activities among their partners such as shipyards, sale of ships, charter, nautical training or repair and maintenance. Founded in 1986, it is the business association decana and reference in the marine sector balear and, therefore, it is integrated into the employer ANEN (National Association of Nautical Companies), which represents in practice the entire industrial and business fabric of the nautical of recreation in Spain.
