Arritz Aranburu falls from the competition after being eliminated in the refishing round
Penultimate day of competition and the Spanish run out of qualifying options for the first Olympic Games in which surfing takes part.

Jonathan González, Ariane Ochoa, Leticia Canales and Arritz Aramburu debuted in the most important world in recent years by imposing themselves as the first in their respective sleeves.
The most mature were Jonathan González and Ariane Ochoa. Both made clear the Spanish intentions in sleeves 6 and 7 respectively. González and Ochoa advanced in the main picture as first in their duels.
