25 cruises crossed the exit line in front of Port Ginesta to participate in the twenty-third edition of the Bahía de Pollença regatta... an incident-free start, with a garby wind of 8-9 knots of intensity... the 104 nautical mile tour, is a high-height regatta for the Catalunya Championship of Solitaries, A2 and complete crew

The first hours of navigation were with soft winds of a southern component, until midnight. From that moment on the fleet had to deal with a full-fledged glow, while the participants patiently waited for the entrance of strong Gregal winds. This occurred between 5 and 6 in the morning and with a clearly established gregal at first hour on Saturday morning above 20 knots of intensity, the ships were able to enjoy a very fast navigation.

At 9: 40 in the morning, El Enigma, Grand Soleil 44R, from Lluís Tort and Elsa Poveda, from the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, with crew A2, was the first ship to cross the line of arrival with an inverted time of 17 hours and 40 minutes.

The last ship crossed the line of arrival at six in the afternoon. Once the time compensation has been applied, the absolute winner of the XXIII edition of the Bay of Pollença regatta has been the Diabolic, Sun Fast 35, of Glenn de Brouwer, co-sponsored by Nico Devos, of the Royal Belgium Sailing Club.

The second classified of the absolute general was the La Orana, X362 Sport of Jordi Zaragoza, co-sponsored by David Sánchez, of the Vilanova Nautical Club.

The third of the absolute general has been the CONEIX.COM, Sun Fast 36 of Miquel Delcós, of the Reial Club Marítima in Barcelona.

The trophy ceremony took place at 12: 00 on Sunday, May 23, applying a strict protocol for health reasons. The Ajuntment of Pollença attended Maria Boades, a tourist regator and Andrés Nevado, a representative regator of Port de Pollença. The Royal Club Náutic Port de Pollença was represented by Pere Antoni Nadal, comandoro and Pere Antoni Borras, delegate of sports activities. Enrique Curt, Director of the Regata and Alfons Echegaray, representing the family that gives name to the trophy to the winner, accompanied the authorities.
