Despite the cancellation of Valencia, there is a great atmosphere around the 52 Super Series... the reaction is expected for Portals in August

The first race of the 2021 season of 52 Super Series to be held in July in Valencia has been cancelled.

The main reason is that the minimum number of participating ships could not be reached so that a viable and competitive test could be carried out from Valencia Mar.

The problems of the equipment to travel and some previous commitments have been the causes of these absences, but what seems clear is that the class will return to the big water in late August in Puerto Portals with a fleet that may be between 15 and 17 ships... that will be from 24 to 28 next August... with Port Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week & TP52 20th Annual Invitational.

This race should have been disputed in 2020 but it was cancelled by the pandemic and it was intended to be done in 2021 in the same scenario as was planned before the health crisis.

The second race of the season will be in Menorca with the collaboration of the Mahono Maritime Club from September 28 to October 2. And the end of the year will be November 2-6 with the Rolex TP52 World Championship 2021 from the Real Club Nautico in Palma de Mallorca.
