The official presentation of the four-eighth edition of the Trophy of Vela Conde Godó, was held this noon at the facilities of the Reial Club Nàutic in Barcelona.

A week from the competition, registration continues to arrive and 35 teams are expected to participate in the ORC class and 15 in J70. Among them, they will defend title three of the four winners of the last edition: the Rats on Fire by Rafael Carbonell (ORC 0-1) - which the last edition managed to match the Bribon with 11 trophies, will fight this year for its decimal Godó -, L'Immens by Alexandre Laplaza - Laplaza assessors (ORC 2) and Trendu de Salvador Vieta (ORC 3-4). The competition will be represented by six countries: in addition to Spain, there are ships from Switzerland, Uruguay, France, the United Kingdom and Germany.

The 48 Sail Trophy Count of Godo has three days of testing scheduled. Thursday 27 is the day reserved for confirmation, registration of participants and measurement controls of the entire participating fleet. The races will take place from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 May, with a total of seven tests planned for the ORC and ten for the J70, which will be held in two race fields. It will close the 48 Sail Trophy Conde Godó the award, which it will hold on the same Sunday day 30 in the village of the Reial Club Nàutic of Barcelona.
