The Solidarity Rumbo Trophy, with the Autonomical title of Cruises in play, concludes today in the Calpe RCN with only two completed tests, both closed yesterday, as the total absence of the wind on this Sunday day has not allowed to complete the planned program, yet despite the efforts of the committee, led by María Torrijo, to find in the bay of Calpe an area of races in which there was some wind, enough to carry out a test. After looking for that wind and after more than 3 hours in the race field, the committee was' intelligence about A 'and everyone on the ground leaving today's picture blank.

In yesterday's day, with wind that remained at an average of 14 knots of intensity, the day was closed with the Valencian M8 ZasSailing (RCN Valencia) leading group A (ORC 1 -ORC 2), with partials of 1-3. The second square was for another ship of the Valencian club: Brujo, which did not have a good start in Calpe with a discreet 5th square, while the local Itaca IX was third (2-5) with 7 points.

In the other two groups the temporary podium squares were for Tanit IV Medilevel (RCR Alicante) followed by Kalamandurrio (CN Altea) and Pajuelin XIII Benidorm (CN Benidorm) in the B (ORC 3), while group C (ORC 4 - ORC 5) Ardora III and Alitan 3, both of the RCN Denia, accompanied by Chrono (CN Campomans) took the podium.

The results that have been valid to proclaim the new regional champions, in addition to taking away the prestigious Rumbo Solidarity Trophy that has been designed and performed by the boys of the 'Maite Boronat' Occupational Center in Calp, being the winners M8 ZasSailing, Tanit IV Medilevel and Ardora III.

The Royal Nautical Club of Calpe starts the countdown to start one of its most important races of the year: Trophy Rumbo Solidario, being a year more valid for the Autonomous Cruise Championship of the Federation of Sailing of the Valencia Community. The Calpine citation, with five tests planned with barlovento-sotavento or coastal routes, will take place between 15 and 16 May.

As a race with the allicient of the regional title in play, the best of the Comunitat Valenciana will be present on the departure line, with 30 ships cruise from the CN Altea (5); CN Benidorm (1); CN Campomanes (1); CN Moraira (1); CN Oliva (1); CN Villajoyosa (1); El Portet de Dénia (2); RCN Denia (3); RCN Valencia (4) and RCR Alicante (1), to which the representatives of the RCN 10 join.

Several are the ships that enter the quinielas to be on the podium, all sailing under the new CDL class division format. In class 1 are the Valencians Brujo and DKTegoria, both of the RCN Valencia, or the two of home: Ithaca IX or Jeffertje II. As for Class 2, there are several options to be occupying the first square on Sunday, highlighting among them the M8 Zassailing, of RCN Valencia, or Isabella and Tagomago Three, both of the host club.

As for classes 3 and 4, the largest in terms of registered, in the first of them no doubt the great favorite is the Tanit IV Medilevel (RCR Alicante), although it will not have it easy, given the high competition in this class, in which also highlights Pajuelín XIII Benidorm (CN Benidorm) and Kalamandurrio (CN Altea). Among these three ships may be the regional champion and the Rumbo Solidario Trophy, stop thinking about the surprise that Guaguanco (CN Altea) or Aurora (RCN Calpe) can give among others.

As for the 'peques', class 4, the representatives of the Dénia nautical: Ardora III and Alitán 3 are profiled in that first square, although without dismissing the Chrono (CN Campomans) or the Yvonne (CN Moraira).

The departure is scheduled for 12.30 p.m., while on Sunday the departure will be at 11.30 a.m., except for changes... the Calpine club has limited social events, establishing a health protocol that is complemented by the one that has developed the FVCV for the return competitions.
