Mazella and Moroz with their awards as winners of the Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 Castelló with Mayor Amparo Marco

The French Axel Mazella has proclaimed himself the winner of the Cutty Sark FKSS 2921 Castelló. The current number one Galo in the world ended up ahead of his compatriot Theo of Ramecourt and the Croatian Martin Dolenc who made third.

The American Daniela Moroz was the winner in women in front of French Laureniene Nolot and British Katie Dabson. The best Spanish in the general was the Valencian Alejandro Citation in the eleventh position, while Gisela Pulido has finished eighth among the girls. The Citation itself is the new leader of the general of the Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 circuit, after four of its six disputed tests, ahead of Polish Jakub Jurkowski.

Mazella has been the best in Castelló, she has no doubt served as king of the Kite Formula. A race in which six tests have been made and in which French has been the strongest in a fleet with 80 competitors in the Open class.

The podium was completed by his compatriot Theo de Ramecourt and the Croatian Martin Dolenc who has been the only male regatist that in the two weeks that the Valencia Community has been the world epicenter of the Kite Formula has gone up to the podium of Valencia and Castelló.

Among the Spaniards the best has been Alejandro Citation with its eleventh square. The Valencian never fails and staying in this position in Castelló is its logical result. So, what Citation has achieved is to move to lead the Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 circuit as Russian Denis Taradin was unable to compete on Friday and has lost many of his options to revalidate his 2020 title.

The French Axel Mazella, currently number one in the world of Formula Kite, is the first leader of the Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 Castelló. The Galo outweighs his compatriot Theo of Ramecourt by one point, while the third square of this race in which 80 regatists participate is shared by Polish Maxs Zakowski and Croatian Martin Dolenc. The first Spanish is Alejandro Citation in the eleventh square of the general. In women the first leader of the test to be held with the co-organization of the City of Castelló and the help of the City of Castelló is the American Daniela Moroz, followed by the French Laurenio Nolot. Gisela Polido is fifth.

For the first time in the four years of history of the Cutty Sark FKSS it was decided that Castelló's competition would be made by dividing the fleet. The 80 enrolled in the Open class were separated into two groups that alternated in the starting line. Even having to double the exits and that the first manga was disputed after three in the afternoon were able to complete four sleeves on a tour that had a separate arrival from the committee ship to make it possible for the two groups to match in the race field of the CD Eolo and the Real Club Nautico de Castellón.

Axel Mazella arrived in Castelló short of competition in 2021. He had only disputed a test in France before he arrived in Castellón yesterday, but the number one in the world has not lost his hand. In the waters of Gurugu Beach he won three of his group's four sleeves and takes a point of advantage to his compatriot De Ramecourt who in the other group made two first and two seconds. The other manga winners were the ones who followed them in the general, the Polish Zakowski, the Croatian Dolenc and the Singaporean Maximilian Maeder, who, at only 15 years old, is already dealing with the European and world elite. The one who didn't have a good day was the English Connor Bainbridge who came to win in Valencia, although in Castelló he started with two first discreet sleeves and is tenth in the general.

The first Spanish is the Valencian Alejandro Client that occupies the eleventh square of the Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 Castelló. He also had a very solid day the dianense Kiko Peiró with the four results among the top ten of his group. The local regatist, Carlos Puig, finished the first day in twenty-first position and hopes tomorrow to continue climbing positions.

In women, the first leader is the American Daniela Moroz who had already won in Valencia. The favorite was the strongest among the female fleet and has a 12-point advantage over French Laurient Nolot and 17 over English Katie Dabson.

2021 / 05 / 13: Show guaranteed in Castellón with a Cutty Sark FKSS record

99 athletes have registered in the competition with 80 regatists in the Open class to which the number one in the world is added, the French Axel Mazella (Photo Toni Forqués)

The Cutty Sark FKSS 2021 Castelló bate all records. The race that begins tomorrow on the Gurugu Beach next to the headquarters of the Eolo CD is not only the most multitudinary in the four years that the circuit has been fighting, but it is also the one that brings together a cast of more prominent regatists internationally with 13 of the 15 best men in the world in the speciality of the registered Formula Kite.

Also in women the test has 12 of the 15 best in the world with which the list of participants is worthy of a World Cup. The test is held with the co-organization of the City Council, and the collaboration of the Provincial Council and the Royal Nautical Club of Castellón.

In total there are 99 athletes registered in the competition because at the 80 of the Open class we have to add the regatists that since Saturday will compete in the class F-One FKSS Amateur. A whole historical record of a competition that has become the European reference circuit in the Formula Kite class. Another milestone of Castelló's race is that a cash prize of 2,000 euros will be delivered on Sunday, distributed equally between the winner of the male and female tests.

Last week in Valencia the registration was of real luxury with the final victory of British Connor Bainbridge and American Daniela Moroz. But the arrival in Castelló today of French Axel Mazella, current number one in the world of specialty, gives the event even more lustre.

Mazella will come to fight with the fleet for a victory that will be very expensive with the presence of the first world figures such as the above mentioned ones the Croatian Martin Dolenc who was second in Valencia, the German Florian Gruber, the Russian Denis Taradin, the current leader of the circuit of the Cutty Sark FKSS and also joins this bouquet of stars the Polish Maxs Zakowski who has overcome a disease that did not allow him to travel to Valencia and is already in Castelló training since Tuesday.
