Ferri signs a new contract with the Dutch shipyard Daren
Ferri will match the cover of Daren Shipyards' next oceanographic. The agreement consolidates Ferri as a reference provider for the Dutch shipyard and confirms its leadership in the design, development, manufacture, assembly and maintenance of deck machines for oceanographic ships.
The Damen group is a reference for world-wide shipbuilding. It is distributed in 36 shipyards specialized in military ships, megayates, oil support ships, towing ships, oceanographic vessels and other highly sophisticated vessels. It has more than 12,000 employees, operates in more than one hundred countries and has a production capacity of 180 vessels per year. Over 6,500 ships delivered over almost a century of existence support the trajectory of a company known for its high quality standards. This letter of presentation gives value to the contract signed by Damen with Ferri Industries to equip all the cover machinery of its new oceanographic.
This agreement confirms the satisfaction of the Dutch giant with the work done by Ferri in his previous contract, which involved the supply of 29 machines worth more than EUR 3 million on a fishing prospecting vessel of 74 metres in length. The endowment included all the scientific, fishing, manoeuvring machinery, as well as the porticos, cranes, fish, the mating and founding system, and all the controls, panels and automatisms of the devices. This new contract consolidates Ferri within the Dutch giant's portfolio of preferred suppliers, with which he also works on several military and megayate ship projects.
