Nine ships from Lanzarote, eight from Tenerife and 15 from Gran Canaria met with a demanding race field, with pronounced changes in intensity, which made it difficult to position the fleet.

In the first day the provisional was led by the current Spanish champions, Gustavo and Rafael del Castillo, who the regularity of two seconds and the triumph of the last race, placed them two points from the Nano Negrín / David Martín launchers. The grancanaries Fernando León / Antonio del Castillo Olivares were then placed at five points, closing the first three posts. In the bulk of the fleet, highlight the good make of Juan Guerra / Pipo Caballero (RCNGC) as partial solids (5-6-7) led them to the fourth place of the provisional. The second position obtained in the last test by the Tineers Antonio Llabrés / Daniel Arozena or the third of Nahuel Rodríguez / Guio Bonilla (RCNGC) also in this test was also highlighted. Patricia Medina / Eugenia Calvo, the only female crew to participate in this trophy, was in the tenth place while Alonso Pérez / Adolfo Ron of the Zero Code Sports Club, were the first young people to be classified in the twenty-fifth place on the table.
In the second and last day, it was quite striking the compact that sailed the fleet, with three different leaders in the three contested sleeves: Miguel Ángel Lasso / Tomás Fuentes (RCNA) began winning the first, his club mates Nano Negrín / David Martín did the same in the second and veteran Joaquín Blanco Torrent with Guillermo López, showed class winning in the third.
But the regularity of the Brothers of the Castle allowed them the final triumph, scoring as partial (2) - 2-1-2-2-2 and nine points in the final computation. The numbers gave Lasso / Fuentes the second in the general, but a right of way protest in the third regatta of the day decided in favor of Fernando León / Antonio del Castilla-Olivares, relegated them to the fourth position, while the second position was awarded by Nano Negrín / David Martín, closing the podium the León / del Castilla-Olivares.

In the later award, the first qualified in the Master categories (Nano Negrín / David Martín RCNA), youth category (Alonso Pérez / Juan Ron CD Code Zero), women category (Patricia Medina / Mª Eugenia Calvo RCNGC) were also awarded trophy by the current 470 world champion and the Patricia Cantero grancan Olympic representative and mixed category (Jaime Pérez / Julia Ivory RCNT).
The next big meeting for the Snipe class will be the Youth and absolute Spanish Championship that will be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in July, organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Gran Canaria.
