The Galician Federation of Piragüismo has today opened the registration period for the GOLD RIVER RACE, reserved for K2 and C2 long distance... between the towns of Quiroga in the province of Lugo, to the Pontevedrés council of Salvaterra de Miño... after competing in three stages between 30 and 50 km each.

The short-term objective that will become the most remote of the world, alternating the Ponferrada-Ourensea-Tui and Lugoo-Ourense- Tui... by the areas of the Ribeira Sacra, the Ribeiro and the Albariño, by an impressive place by the legendary rivers of gold of Galicia: as Médales, Montefurado, the canyons of Sil, to Ponte Vella de Ourense, the incomparable Roman walls of Lugo, the two-millennia fisheries of the Lamprea in the ancient and the most ancient centuries of Europe, which was founded in the city of Barcelona and the most ancient of the city of the city of Argusto.

The Gold River Race does not come as a unique event... it comes to stay in the hands of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo, with the support of the Royal Spanish Federation, its creators: the Marítimo Club of Vigo and the Club of Piragüismo Olívico... that have the support among other clubs with that of the Marítimo Federation of Bouzas and the Club Marítimo de Canido... to which will be added the main clubs of Piragüismo of the interior of Galicia... case of the Fluvial of Lugo, Fluvial of O Barco, Cidade of Pixos,...

A new prize will be the TROFEO DE CLABES VANGUARD, with a pneumatic boat (only at the hull level) from the Vanguard collection. The cash prizes will be in the around fifteen thousand euros, and will be delivered to the best classified in the categories that are formed... as well as to the first in each of the flying goals (two per stage). The TROFEO XACOBEO 21-22 will be for the male winning crew, and the TROFEO ABANCA for the female. The registration cost is 80 euros per pyragüa or canoe, which gives the right to prizes, individualized gifts (flat t-shirt and gifts from Abanca, as well as the final revival in each of the stages).

The participation is limited to 200 K2 and C2 pyragüas (with male or female... juvenile, senior or master crew) in: kayak-canoa @ fegapi.org
