The Champion in Buitrago was Eduardo Navarro dell Club Náutico Vicario-Pantaniculas de Ciudad Real, club that will soon organize the Windsurf-Slalom de Castilla Mancha championship in the reservoir of Gasset (Fotos Alfonso Tertre)

The Madrid Open Formula Windsurf Community Championship was held in the Madrileño reservoir of El Atazar Cervera de Buitrago (Madrid), which had the organization of the Náutico Cervera Club of Buitrago, as well as the sponsorship of the Buitrago Cervera City Council, and the technical support of the Federation Madrilela de Vela and its secretariat of the Formula Windsurf Class.

There, the athletes of Castilla La Mancha achieved absolute success, by achieving the first three positions of the general classification of the competition... Eduardo Navarro, Francisco Sabio and Alfonso Tertre, achieved by this order the posts of honor of the race, while Miguel Bilo was the first youth of the competition and José María Ochoa the first position as a veteran. All of the above-mentioned athletes compete with a license from the federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha, and belong to different nautical clubs in the region.

Fernando Calvo, with a brilliant performance, and some problem in his outfit, was fourth of the general classification, and was proclaimed the Madrid champion of Formula Windsurf 2021. Subchampion of the community of Madrid was Luis Vierna.

In the youth category, the first place, was Miguel Bailo, regatist of the sports club Orillas de Alocén de Guadalajara... José María Ochoa, of the Náutico Serranillas Club, of San Román de los Montes (Toledo), was the first veteran sportsman of the race.

The 2021 Annulla la Mancha de Formula Windsurf Championship will be held at 3 tests and is scheduled to start in June with the organization of the sports club Orillas de Alocén de Guadalajara. In addition to this race in the reservoir of Entrepeñas, another test is to be called in the reservoir of Cazalegas (Toledo) and in the reservoir of El Vicario in Ciudad Real.
