The 61st Great Valencia Trophy for the Snipe class again shows that it is one of the most important races not only in its calendar but also in its national and international projection. Proof of this is the very high level given in the capital of Turia this weekend, 1 and 2 May, bringing together in the RCN of Valencia 70 Snipe ships, which will compete for two days and six tests planned by this prestigious trophy.
Quantity and quality is the one that has managed to gather the Valencian club at home. An important fleet from six autonomous communities: Region of Murcia, Euskadi, Baleares, Andalusia, Asturias, Canary Islands, Community of Madrid and Comunitat Valenciana, adding the countries of Belgium, Italy and Portugal.
The level of the fleet is very high and the forecasts to set up a possible podium next Sunday is quite complicated, although if we should name one of the ships with options we highlight the almeries Alfredo Fresneda and Javier López or the baleares Victor Pérez and Juan Carlos Serrano or Jordi Triay and Cristian Vidal, to which their join the bats Juanma Barrionuevo and Alejandro Díaz or the tandem madrileño-asturiano with Martínez Bermudez de Castro and Angela Pumariega, counting that with the local fleet and the local ones being a very high level of the Aegen.
The Organizing Committee plans to complete six tests... the first manga, on both Saturday and Sunday, is scheduled for 12.30 p.m.
