The final of Galicia's oldest cruise race... of the Primavera Regata-Repsol Trophy, which has organized the Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona, and in which the highest awards have been for the Lusian Rui Ramada pattern that with its Swan 45 Yess Racing that is flagged in Baiona was imposed in the class ORC 1-2... and for the Elan 37 of the Marítmo Club of Canido, the Bosch Service Solutions, with Ramón Ojea of pattern... among the smaller of the "La Guardia" class of the "(").

The great defeated were among the great Oils April of the Pérez Canal Brothers, and to a lesser extent the Swan 42 of Julio Rodríguez, the Magic... and in those of class 4 Luis Pérez and his Balea Dous... as they were the favorites a priori. 2021 / 05 / 01: Yess Racing of Rui Ramada wins the first act of the Repsol Trophy in Monte Real

In the waters of the Villa de la Carabela the Pinta began the four-year edition of the Regata de Primavera-Repsol Trophy that has organized since 1978 the Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona... the wind has forced to change the plan of a Baiona-Rande- Baiona regatta, for something similar to a turn to the Cis Islands, which, depending on the speed and length of the 47 participating cruises, had 28 miles for both and 20 for others.

In the queens, victory in time compensated in the OrC 1-2 class of the Swanan Lusian that competes for the Royal Mount of Baiona... the Yess Racing of Rui Ramada; being the second place for the Pérez Canal Brothers with Oils April and the tarcera square for the other Swanan, the Magical armed by Julio Rodríguez of the Real Nautical Club of Vigo... or the club that presides José Antonio Portela for the moment is silver and bronze in the podium, and Baiona oro... in the ORC 3 sarpasso of a good boat as well as the Punta de Náutio de Cagutio (the third Club of the Náutio de Cagutio), being the Monte de Cagutio (the third Club of the Cagutio for the second time of the Club of the Cagutio de Cagutio de Víz a...

2021 / 04 / 30: Great atmosphere before the Repsol Trophy that organizes Monte Real... with 50 cruises in a race

50 online cruises to compete in the vicedecana of the races of Mount Real Club of Yates, the Repsol Trophy in recent years... Spanish multinational company that has in the north the sustainability of the environment, which marks a performance that others should follow to its wake: to support events like this Spring Regata, for these are moments when all the nautical has to be united against adversity in the form of Pademia... thanks to Repsol for supporting the recovery.

The four-third edition of the Baionese Club Spring Regatta will start at 12: 00 noon on Saturday inside the Baionese Bay, where the crews will listen to the airway to the coastal route that will take them to the Rande Bridge, to return to Baiona... it seems that there will be wind, and also generous... which will guarantee the vistosity and is a show in the Vigo River.

In the edition of this 2021, which will not go until Sanxenxo as in previous years because of the health problems, which do not make it very advisable in the times that run... however the offer of the Monte Real is really attractive, and has been very well welcomed by the fleet... the demonstration the half a hundred cruises in race... which is not little.

Half a hundred cruises of various categories will take part this weekend in the Spring Regata that celebrates its forty-third anniversary of Repsol's hand... the novelty is that the veteran series of cruises will have only coastal routes and there will be no barloventos-sotaventos... so we must congratulate its organizer, the Mount Real Club of Yates for the initiative.

The first act of the race will be a Baiona- Bridge of Rande- Baiona, which also recovers from the trunk of the memories... and which had been created there in the 1990s in the Half Ton World Championship, in which the Infanta Cristina, had formed crew with today Admiral Jaime Rodríguez Touges, in the Cortegada of the Military Naval School and which had sponsored Hyundai... when it was a newly marketed vehicle in Spain.

The second manga, a classic Vuelta a Cíes, very used in the 80's in the Monte Real Club of Yates itself, and which has been used as a tour both by the Bouzas Maritime Liceo, and the Nautico de Vigo in the last Sea of Maeloc Rías Baixas. The closing on Sunday at the edge of six in the afternoon.

In the last edition held in 2019, the Oils of the brothers Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal (RCN Vigo) were won in ORC 1, the Unus of Luis García Trigo (MRCYB) in ORC 2, the Okofen of Javier de la Gandara (MRCYB) in the competition of the J80 and the Bouvento Patronado by Luis Alcázar (MRCYB) in the Fibarian class... in this edition will be kept the same classes of ORCs, J80 and Fibarians and there will be, to the older, two more categories of ORC, with only two people, with the two people, and open.

The Spring Regata was born as a heiress of the unforgettable "Gloria Trophy" in the spring of 1986 in which it took the name of the General Optic Regata which became the most important of the entire coast of the Iberian Atlantic... and which even filtered with the Count of Godó Trophy and the same King's Cup... for not a few it was the most important of the national concert in the years 1988-1989-1990. The idea of the "Spring Regata" in other words of the Gloria Trophy was by Gloria Fernández Faria, wife of the bow masqueron of the Galician candle: the imfuel José Luis Freire... who had an excellent boutique that owned the exclusive in Galicia of the famous elite brand of the fashion "Courreges."

It was a few years that was unforgettable between 1978 and 1985... who did not remember those fights of the "Pairo" and the "Lanzal..." the first with Gorostegui and the second with the very same Ib Andersen!... who did not remember that legendary victory of the Ladies First Lusian of José Miguel Folhadela, before the estuper of his own and strangers, and the "Black Falcon" that spectacular Dubois One Ton... Gloria left us in full and with it the light that illuminated this historic race was turned off... many years later her husband reorganized in his memory, on Mount Real the "Gloria Trophy" already on the eve of the Prince of Asturias in the 1990s with another format... without knowing for sure because it was not celebrated again... The candle generation then, we professed gratitude and affection to Gloria, and we will never forget those legendary races... nor get tired of remembering her.
