The program established by the organizing committee decided to complete a coastal race to El Perelló, with a total distance of 17.6 nautical miles, marked by the low wind at the exit and first stretch of the test, although after the passage through El Perelló the wind conditions were somewhat more beneficial with the fleet, allowing to face the last miles, towards the line of arrival located on the mouth of the Club, something faster.

The first in real time was the M8, a Grand Soleil 43, led by the French Armengot brothers who knew how to take advantage of the performance and configuration of their ship in that last stretch, when there was higher wind pressure. His arrival took place at 1454 hours, completing the tour in 2 hours. 55 '53. "

After him came the Majoche, a First 40.7 armed by Alejandro Fliquete, with 11 minutes of difference, while the third was the Impulse, a J99 of Raúl García, who did it 2 minutes later than the ship of Fliquete.

Once the compensated times were obtained, the podium in the classes ORC 2 - ORC 3 was established with the Inquiethyl-Alhambra, by José Vicente Alhambra, followed by M8 and Spinnaker, by Ventura Orts. As for the ORC 4 - ORC 5, the podium was for Strategos IV, by Kiko Torrent, in the first square, Guaira, Vicente de Diego and Tortooga, by Rafael Ruíz, taking second and third place respectively.
