The Palma International Boat Show is organized by IDI and BYBA, and the Balearic Yacht Show, by the Balearic Marine Cluster and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca

Like that legendary television series...... the Palma International Boat Show and the Balearic Yacht Show have decided to join forces and match in time. Thus the present and virtual nautical fair will take place from 3 to 6 June to achieve a greater promotion of the sector and the nautical companies of the Balearic Islands. In fact, it will be the first hybrid fair in the Mediterranean sector.

With this agreement, the PIBS's commitment to digitization is increased thanks to the BYS platform, which will complete the present offer of the nautical fair of the Old Moll. A major aspect of the collaboration will be the extension of the parallel activities that will be offered to exhibitors and professionals as the fact that they are online allows organizers to better adapt to COVID regulations.

The nautical is one of the industrial sectors considered strategic by the Industrial Plan of the Balearic Islands. It must be borne in mind that, according to the latest data, the sector in the Islands has almost 2,000 business companies and more than 5,000 direct workers. In addition, last quarter registration figures in Spain show that the Balearic Islands are again leading the market with 189 registrations, 20% more than the same period as the previous year.
