The Olympic gold Anton Paz will be your coach this year at least to bring you all your experience

Patricia Suárez (Vigo, 1994) and María Cantero (Las Palmas, 1997), from Real Club Náutico de Vigo and Real Club Náutico Gran Canaria, respectively, have today presented at the Galego de Vela Center, in Vilagarcía, their project for the Paris Games 2024, which is sponsored by the Profand Group, a Viguese fishing with a large turnover in more than sixty countries and presence in Europe, Asia, the United States, South America and Africa.

In addition to his coach this year, the Arousan Olympic gold Antón Paz, the xeral secretary for or Sport, José Ramón Lete, and the president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, Manuel Villaverde, together with Vice President Pedro Piñeiro, attended the event. So,
Xunta and RFGV showed their support for this new project that involves a Galician regatist and which is initially based in the Galego Vela Center. At least as long as the new Olympic cycle does not begin at the end of the Tokyo Games.

Suárez and Cantero, Spanish champions of 49er FX last October in the waters of the Arousa River, will prepare together the assault on their first Olympic Games, supported by the experience of the viguesa, which together with Nicole van der Velden granted Spain the Olympic square for Tokyo.
