Sven Stadel of the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe has also been the absolute winner

The world's tricampoon, Sven Stadel of the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe, has been declared the absolute winner of the Spanish Cup of the class Europe, race disputed in waters of the Torrevieja RCN... Stadel has won with authority, with a difference of 33 points on the second classified, the Catalan Daniel Cabré of the Núutic El Masnou, which in turn has been proclaimed winner Sub 20 and Sub 18 Male. Third was the onubense Ignacio Toronjo of the Royal Club Marítimo and of Tennis de Punta Umbria.

In the female category, the winner was the local regatist María del Carmen Fernández of the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, followed by the Catalan ones of the Níutic El Balís, Monica Veenhoven and Nora Lasurt, the latter also took the title Sub 20 Female. While the winner at Sub 18 Women has been the Gerundense Emma Collins of the Costa Brava-Club de Vela Palamós.
