The new board of directors chaired by Javier Sanz "more extensive, representative and participatory," also includes among his 25 members the Andalusian Valle de la Riva and Alicia Caballero as vowels.

The new Board of Directors of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation was formed today, Wednesday, March 31, after President Javier Sanz ratified the appointments of the 25 people who will be part of this governing body.

The greatest new feature of the Sanz organization chart is the disappearance of the Executive Committee. "We want the Board to be more involved, an active body with monthly meetings and a division of work based on areas of responsibility that will speed up decision-making," says Sanz. With this new approach, the president of the RFEV aims to give more voice and vote to all groups, making decisions always taken in a collegiate way.

"I am very proud to be able to present a highly representative and ample board, in which all the layers of the candle are present"Javier Sanz said. In addition to announcing the composition of the Board of Directors, the new Spanish sailing committees, 18 in total, have also been made public.

In this new Board of Directors, the Andalusian and second-term president of the Andalusian Vela Federation, Francisco Coro, has been appointed first vice president while the sports vice-president will be held at the Joaquín Migulez- Devesa. The position of treasurer of the RFEV will be held by Catalan Jan Sanfeliu. The Vice-President of Aguas Interias, who will occupy the Extremño Antonio Álvarez, also highlights.

"For me it is a tremendous pride and a great satisfaction, Javier knows me many years ago and knows of my journey in the Sailing, I imagine that that has been my best letter of presentation," says Paco Coro, who adds, "It is very exciting for me to work for the Spanish candle and I will turn around. Now it is time to look through the national candle without forgetting of course the Andaluza, but if I am clear that everything good we do at the national level will have an impact on our territory and the rest of Spanish federations." Asked about the objectives, Coro concludes, "There is a lot to do, starting with the creation of competent committees with people working to move forward, there is no time to lose."

The Board of Directors will also have a large representation of women, with a total of six women in this body. Catalina Darder, as Vice President and Inés Herrador, will be the secretary; in addition, they will act as vocals Ana Pujol, Laura Germán and the Andalusians María del Valle de la Riva, President of Puerto Sherry, and Alicia Caballero, President of CN Sevilla.

Francisco Coro, Jerezano, a tourist professional, in love with his Andalucia and Spain... a sport lover and tireless fighter for the base sail... is the new first vice president of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation. He broke into the world of our sport by the hand of another of the great... of the donostiarra Rafael Muñilla, to whom he owes so much the optimal class, the AECIO in Spain... and in honor of the truth Munilla was not wrong to propose as his successor to the sherry. Under the command of Coro, the optimist maintained the line of his predecessor and to be very strong... of his constant work came the creation of the Circuito de Excelencia that went from nothing to be the maximum... thanks to his determined commitment to the children's candle. From there to the Andaluza, and consequently to the Spanish... it was the logical thing... in which he worked what he could and what they left him... now he is with a large group, and a president, Javier Sanz, who is presumed to be historic, with real luxury companions like Chimo González Devesa: the Spanish candle is of congratulations, for being able to count on his competition.
