The thirteenth edition of the Maritime Fira of the Costa Daurada is suspended

The event will take place in 2022, when the situation allows it to be organized with the maximum guarantees for the people involved
The Cambrils City Council and the Nàutic Cambrils Club have decided to suspend the celebration of the 13th edition of the Golden Coast Maritime Fira (FMCD), thinking of preserving to the maximum the safety of exhibitors, the public and the citizens as a whole.
The Maritime Fira of the Costa Daurada was scheduled for 14, 15 and 16 May and it had been working on all the details for months. The current development of the Covida-19 pandemic and the restrictions marked by the health authorities make it impossible to carry out the activity with all the guarantees.
The organization deeply regrets the situation, given the importance of the Fira as a business platform for the nautical sector and for Cambrils and its projection. However, by applying a criterion of responsibility and strict compliance with the rules, it is believed that it is best to focus efforts on making the 13th edition of the Maritime Fira of the Costa Daurada a reality in 2022.
The aim is to get the FMCD to jump forward at a qualitative level and in number of exhibitors. Now these efforts will be maintained in order to be able to make a reality next year with the presence of the best Catalan, Valencian, Baletian and other companies.
It will also work to attract visitors from all over the Catalan coast, the Ebro Valley, Lleida, the Basque Country and Andorra. The environment and sustainability, taking into account its health effects, will continue to be the driving thread of the next edition of the Fira, which will maintain the spirit of bringing the world of nautical and sports and playful activities closer to all public, especially in the family.
