The Directive of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation will have 25 members
The new Board of Directors of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation was formed today, Wednesday, March 31, after President Javier Sanz ratified the appointments of the 25 people who will be part of this governing body.
The greatest new feature of the Sanz organization chart is the disappearance of the Executive Committee. "We want the Board to be more involved, an active body with monthly meetings and a division of work based on areas of responsibility that will speed up decision-making"Sanz points. With this new approach, the president of the RFEV aims to give more voice and vote to all groups, making decisions always taken in a collegiate way.
"I am very proud to be able to present a highly representative and ample board, in which all the layers of the candle are present"Javier Sanz said. In addition to announcing the composition of the Board of Directors, the new Spanish sailing committees, 18 in total, have also been made public.
On this new Board of Directors, the Andalusian Francisco Coro has been appointed first vice president while the sports vice president will be on the Joaquín-Devesa ballast. The position of treasurer of the RFEV will be held by Catalan Jan Sanfeliu. The Vice-President of Aguas Interias, who will occupy the Extremño Antonio Álvarez, also highlights.
The Board of Directors will also have a large representation of women, with a total of six women in this body. Catalina Darder, will be the vice president and Inés Herrador, will be the secretary; in addition, they will act as vocals Ana Pujol, María del Valle de la Riva, Laura Germán and Alicia Caballero.
President Javier Sanz has announced that the first meeting of the Board of Directors will take place throughout April and will already begin work in the most immediate future of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation.
