Marina Amarilla Golf San Miguel has welcomed the closure of the Tenerife International Regatta in its modality of ILCA 7 Olympic Class... it is attended by the director of Marina Amarilla, Ángela Tavío, the mayor of the municipality of San Miguel de Abona, Arturo González, the President of the island Vela Federation, Carmen Manuela Arnalda Herrera, the Director of Education and Youth of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Isabel Bello, the member of the organizing committee Raúl Ruiz, and the promoter of the event, Javier Hernández Cebrián.

In their addresses, the authorities highlighted the imminent holding of the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021 and thanked the celebration of this I Tenerife International Regatta in the facilities of the Marina Amarilla San Miguel, as a sports and tourist destination where 11 countries have been held, the development of their next sports commitments before the Olympic Games, highlighting the success of this race and the excellent sport that has placed Tenerife in the landscape of the sailing sport.

In the classification led by Dutch leader Niels Broekhuizen in the first position, followed by Karl-Martin Rammo representing Estonia, and Enrique Arathoon representing El Salvador, in third position.
