The General Assembly of the Cantabra de Vela Federation has once again placed its trust in Fernando Mirapeix to hold the office of President for the next four years.

The Special General Assembly was held with the vote to the President of the Cantabra de Vela Federation as the only item on the agenda.

A total of 22 Assemblies were called to the vote representing the different strata (Clubs, Sports, Technicians and Judges), presenting 21... who gave their trust to Fernando Mirapeix without any blank votes... this election must still be ratified by the General Directorate of Sports of the Government of Cantabria.

Mirapeix took stock of the previous stage with great achievements, federative modernization and a great increase in the activity of the Federation, being self-critical in indicating that it is far from equality in the sailing and must strengthen the efforts for the incorporation of more women... he also highlighted the great harmony at the institutional level, especially thanking the collaboration and willingness of the Director General of Sports Mario Iglesias.
