The Olympic champion Maialen Chourraut was awarded in K1 the 1st Pyreineus 2021 Cup of the slalon while the international Galician Luis Fernández won the victory in C1, in the competition held at the Parc del Segre in La Seu de Urgell... in the tests held during the weekend, the female final of C1 was won by the Andorran Monica Doria, followed by the Galician Ainhoa Lameiro, second, and the Basque Mira Lazkano, third.

In women K1 the Olympic bimedalist Maialen Chourraut was clear winner, while Catalan Laia Sorribes finished fourth... in male category, the Galician Luis Fernández was awarded the C1, then the Catalan Miquel Travé was classified; while in K1 the Catalan Pau Echaniz was fifth.

Next weekend, on the channel of the French city of Pau, will take place the 2nd Pireineus 2021 in the slalon, with the participation of the Spanish palists.
