The Okofen of Javier de la Gandara maintains its domain over the J80 that are disputed the Winter League Baitra of Mount Real Club of Yates... the difference between Gandara and its rivals, is insurmountable today and it is very difficult for someone to overcome it in Baiona's tests.

With a first and a second place in the partials of the third day held on Saturday in the bay of Baionesa, and after dismissing its worst result, the Okofen is away 4 points from its most direct competitor, the Alboroto de Juan Carlos Ameneiro that goes second with 12 points. Close the provisional podium the Marías de Manel Marías with 17 points.

The Okofen achieved this new victory on a day complicated by the wind, which was hard to catch. The first test that was taken out, with a slightly shorter than usual course to not risk too much, had to be cancelled because the wind, which had started from the east with little force, fell completely leaving the meditate to zero... turned into a raft of oil, the stage was announced very complicated to hold some test, but the regatta committee did not stop and kept the sailboats in the water for some time hoping to give them at least one more way out.

Finally, it was achieved with a north wind of about 6 knots of average, with which the fleet was able to dispute up to two tests, the fifth and sixth in what goes of competition. On both of them, the sailboats made the usual tour, a barlovento sotavento double-round; and with the latter, which the committee decided to cut to ensure its end, they could eliminate their worst result so far, something that made the classification dance.

The Okofen of Javier de la Gandara did not give a truce this Saturday in Baiona and in addition to achieving the best results of the second day of the Winter League Baitra J80, he managed to take away the lead to the Marías of Manel Marías, which came in the lead after the opening stage.

The J80 of Don Javier, with which his two sons Jaime and Javier and Diego Fernández also sail on board, signed two first and a third... what is good for him to ascend to his Okofen to take the lead, to the detriment of the Lusian "Marías" that went down to the second square.

The Cansino de Fernando Yáñez was just the opposite. It began strong, with a second position, but it was losing the edge as the day went forward; and the fourth and eighth posts it signed in the rest of the sleeves did not allow it to climb positions beyond the third position it carried from the first stage. In fourth position is the Alboroto de Juan Carlos Ameneiro, which counted on board, with one of the illustrious J80 class at the national level: Javier Aguado.

By closing the Top 5 of the Winter League Baitra J80 we find the Spaco of Santiago Estevez, which does not change position with respect to the first day. He is followed by the New Moon of Juan Luis Tuero; the SDN Cormorán of Francisco J. Martínez; and the Ferralemes of Jaime García.

The Winter League Baitra J80 organized by Mount Real Club of Yates with the sponsorship of Baitra Naval Accessories will return to Baiona Bay on April 10 with three new tests that will enter the monotypes in the equator of the competition.
