The Spanish Olympic team... the ESP Sailing Team, has a new member, the canary Ángel Granda, who has been appointed as Spanish representative in the RS: X class by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, in the absence of the decision being corroborated by the Spanish Olympic Committee.

Granda joins the team of Spanish athletes who make up the ESP Sailing Team, composed of Jordi Xammar and Nicolás Rodríguez (470 M), Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero (470 F), Támara Echegoyen and Paula Barceló (49er FX), Diego Botín and Iago Ópez-Marra (49er), Tara Pacheco and Florian Trittel (Nacra 17) and Blanca Manchón (RS: X F).

They make up the crews corresponding to the seven of the eight classes classified by Spain, pending the incorporation of the representative in Laser Radial and the classification of the Laser Standard and Finn classes.
