The 2016 National Calendar of the RFEM began in the waters of Almería, early last April, with the Spanish Championship of Thermal RC. In 3.5 the podium was composed by Dioniso Baño, followed by Carmela Soriano and Luis Plana. In Tunnel 3.5 the first three were by this order Amaranto Gutiérrez, José Antonio Barquero and Luis Plata. Javier Granero Ruiz, Guillermo Domínguez and Manolo García did the same in 7.5. In 15 cc participated 8 athletes with victory for Luis Coll, ahead of Antonio Sánchez and Javier Granero; and finally in 35 cc the metals for Antonio Sancgez, Juan José Rivas and Manolo García.

On the Playa de Burriana (Nerja, Málaga) took place in the second half of April two other punctuable tests for the Spanish Water Motorcycle Championship. In Circuíto Jet Ski GP1, clear victory for Carlos Vela Sanandres with 66 score in the three sleeves held, followed by José Manuel Cardona with 47 and Vicente Cano with 42. More numerous with 11 grilled bikes was the competition of Rally Jet Runabout GP1, two sleeves. Alejandro Molina won with 50 points, the silver was for David R. of Arellano with 40 and the bronze Pedro Espadas with 29, score equal to the José Manuel Cruzado that was fourth, but since in the second and final manga was better Swords, the undone in favor of him.
