Fhimasa new sponsor of one of the most powerful sailing schools at Ibero level... the School of Sailing of the Maritime of Abra, which is named after one of the most prestigious European sailors of all time: José Luis de Ugarte

The company Fhimasa has since this year been the main sponsor of the José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club. Pablo Aragunde García, president of Fhimasa, and Tomás Alonso-Allende and Eduardo García-Santamarina, comandoro and sports director of the Abra Maritime, were present at the sponsorship firm. The long-standing deep-rooted commitment to light sailing in the Royal Abra Maritime Club-Real Sporting Club led to the creation in 1991 of a School of Sailing in the Abra vizcadino. In honor of the most outstanding solo navigator, he was named José Luis de Ugarte. This school is approved by the Spanish Sailing Federation and operates throughout the year with its own fleet of boats. The purpose of the School of Sailing of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, to which Fhimasa is added, is to promote and teach this sport from the age of eight.

The Club de Las Arenas through its School of Sailing, promotes a number of agreements with various institutions and agencies, always with the common goal of bringing the candle closer to the largest number of people. The School, as is seen year after year, introduces in the techniques of sailing about 1,000 children between eight and sixteen years of age, who are attended by a contrasting team of monitors and coaches. A calendar of training courses for sports monitors and technicians is also held on a regular basis. The excellent results of the representatives of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club in recent years, in the various competitions held throughout the country, make the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte a great nursery of regatists.
