Vanguard delivers two semi-rigid aluminium to the Maritime Rescue

The LS-Elara will serve at the base of the Maritime Rescue of the port of Tazacorte, in La Palma, and the LS-Cilene will operate in Castellón.
The last two semi-rigid exits of the Vanguard shipyard have been incorporated into the fleet of Maritime Rescue for Red Cross. These are the LS-Elara and LS-Cilene, two TXA-750 D units developed based on the Vanguard TX Series, off-board motor vessels, deep V military design helmet and specifications for operating in open waters. But the new semi-rigid of the Maritime Rescue have a number of particularities that make them unique within the wide Vanguard dosier.
The specifications provided by the customer required a number of particularities that have tested the capacity to personalize the yard. The most remarkable points: aluminium helmet, D-float and fully configurable cover depending on the needs of each service. The answer is these two Vanguard TXA-750 D, half-rigid 7.5 meters long and double-motorized, capable of fully ensuring the highest demands of the work to which they are directed, mainly rescue, intervention and rescue on the high seas.
Aluminium helmets
The TXA-750 D helmet is a rescue orange color and is made of 5083 H111 quality marine aluminium with deep V design to combine fast navigation with an optimal wave cut. It has three watertight compartments and an integrated bow chest for material stowage. In the starboard fin, a removable door has been installed that facilitates the rescue of people, leaving the deck of the boat at sea level with direct access. The interior surface is covered by non-slip material on the entire foot surface and is prepared to accept different configurations depending on needs. For this purpose, it has a rail system that allows for the rapid assembly / disassembly of the seats and their location in different positions. Both units are equipped with four type Ullman seatsjockeywith a suspension system and a custom-made aluminium console.
Float in D
Another differentiating element of these two units is its perimetral floater in D. A solution that optimizes the habitability of the ship (it gains approximately half a metre of inner sleeve) while making it impossible for it to brush. It consists of a core of five independent inflatable cameras coated with closed-cell polyethylene foam covered with high-strength polyurethane, a material with SOLAS certification that provides excellent abrasion, puncture and hydrocarbon resistance properties. Four intercom valves allow different swollen and swollen modalities as needed.
Double off-board engine and many accessories
The two TXA-750 D are equipped with 150 cv Mercury double motorization to provide a total power of 300 cv, although they are approved for mounting up to 500 cv. They reach a maximum speed of 45 knots with the chosen motorization and their cruise speed with 500 kg of load is 20 knots. Among its abundant equipment, the Vanguard TXA-750 D of the Maritime Rescue have self-adrized arc (in case of a turn, it returns to the boat to original position automatically) and dismountable and dismountable console arch, complete navigation system (radar, AIS receptor, GPS, probe, VHF, GMDSS frame, self-removable emergency radiobaliza), siren, two 300-litre fuel tanks and a long et cetera.
